A dull knife isn't just annoying.
It slips
A dull edge skids off a tomato skin instead of biting in, and that's when fingers get cut.
It crushes
Herbs bruise, bread tears and onions turn to mush when the edge can't slice cleanly.
It slows you down
Every meal takes longer when you're sawing instead of cutting.
See it work
From squashing a tomato to slicing clean through it, on a real kitchen knife.

Sharp in three moves
Snap
Set the blade against the magnetic block. Choose 20° for everyday knives or 15° for fine Japanese edges.
Roll
Roll the coarse diamond disc back and forth along the edge. Flip the knife and repeat.
Finish
Switch to the fine disc for a few passes. Wipe the blade. Done.

Questions, answered
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship with tracking and most US orders arrive in 7-12 business days. You'll get your tracking number by email when it ships. See our shipping policy.
Will it work on my knives?
It works on straight-edged knives: chef's, santoku, paring, utility and most pocket knives, in stainless or carbon steel. It is not for serrated blades or scissors.
15° or 20°: which should I use?
Use 20° for most Western kitchen knives. Use 15° for thin, hard Japanese-style blades. Not sure? Start with 20°.
Do I need water or oil?
No. The discs work dry. Wipe the blade and discs with a dry cloth when you're done.
